Where: HORIZON ULTRA LOUNGE (498 Broadway @ Kearny St. in SF : 4,000 sq. ft venue in the heart of North Beach, SF) aka the old Sake Lab (its been renovated and redesigned and features a stunning 70 foot black marble wrap around bar with leather VIP seating and a spacious dance floor and state of the art sound and lighting)
When: Saturday, February 16th, 2008 (my official b-day celebration). Doors open from 10pm-2am.
Parking: Lots of parking lots all over, don’t give me the excuse of “I tried to go but parking was hard”.
Music: Yes, you guessed it, I will be DJ’ing on my b-day just a treat to you since you came out to help me celebrate..but once again, It’s a classy environment, and as much as I love bay music like Mac Dre, E-40, Keak, Messy Marv, etc., You won’t be hearing any of that at my party. I’m sorry, I realized being a DJ, crowds get really hyphy and fight when it comes to bay music, and its my b-day so why would I want hyphy crunk people there ruining my party? So the music you will be getting is Top 40 Club Hits, Mash-Ups, Dirty Electro, Rock, Reggae Dancehall, Vegas/Hollywood Style Music!! Can’t forget, also in the mix is DJ Fabian (from Hollywood/Denver).

“4 FLAVORZ OF FURY” MIXTAPE vol. 1
Last Saturday, June 16th, 2007, I completed my long-awaited mix cd that everyone has been asking for, for 4 years now. I haven’t came out with a SOLO mix CD for 4 years now but had several joint mix CD’s (i.e. the INDUSTRY TUESDAYS mix cds) within the 4 years with my partner DJ Romeo Reyes of Wild 94.9. But now, My solo CD is done entitled “4 Flavorz of Fury“.
What is 4 Flavorz Of Fury? You guessed it… flavorz is the genre of music featured on this mix CD. It’s not your typical mix CD with just one type of genre (flavor) on it, it has the 4 genres of music the average person likes to dance to in the scene/culture today. The 4 flavorz are #1 hip-hop #2 R&B #3 Reggae Dancehall #4 Mash-ups.
What is A Mash-Up? Normally a Mash-up is taking a classic 80’s or alternative-rock or even a hot hip-hop or R&B song today and remixing it or blending it with a different beat or acapella creating what they call a “mash” sorta like a “clash” of 2-3 songs in one. For example, taking Michael Jackson’s Hit song, Billy Jean, taking the instrumental of that song and applying R&B artist, Kelis’s, hit song, Milkshake, acapella, over the Billy Jean instrumental… “mashing” it up! Get it? Definitely a huge new genre in the DJ industry today bringing back an new/old classic record back to life by remixing it. That’s what is referred to as a MASH-UP!
